The guest speaker at Arbroath Rotary Club’s latest meeting was Christina Potter, recently appointed principal of Dundee and Angus College. Christina, who was introduced by Member William Lawrie, and who has a background in computing, took the members on a historical tour of both of the original colleges and also gave an overview of the current enterprise which now supports around 6,000 full time students, 1,400 part time students and employs over 1,000 staff. Christina also explained the various funding streams which help the College to deliver a wide range of vocational and leisure courses to students from Dundee, Angus and North Fife. Bill Watt proposed the customary vote of thanks and president Iain Grimmond was in the chair.
