An Arbroath High School pupil is set to spend part of his summer holidays at the Scottish Space School.
Greg Robson won a place at a week-long residential summer school in Glasgow which is supported by NASA astronauts and engineers.
Places are extremely sought after and Greg has surpassed many fantastic applicants in securing a place at the school.
In addition, the top 10 students from the programme will be selected for a seven-day learning journey at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston in October.
And Arbroath High School will be wishing the S5 pupil lots of luck in trying to clinch a spot on the trip to Houston.
Science and technology play a large part in all our lives and in the economy of Scotland, and the Space School seeks to inspire the next generation to pursue science related courses of study, and consider careers in science and technology.
According to their website, the current programme at the Scottish Space School, is a week long residential summer school with an eclectic mix of lectures, labs and workshops all on a space theme, delivered by leading academics and researchers, and supported by NASA astronauts and engineers.
