Carnoustie celtic rockers Gleadhraich have scored another coup after announcing yesterday (Monday) that they would be supporting a Scottish music legend.

The group confirmed that they would be supporting Donnie Munro, former frontman of Runrig, at his concert at Montrose Town Hall in February next year.

Speaking exclusively to the Guide & Gazette just before the announcement Gleadhraich’s piper and frontman Craig Weir said: “It’s quite exciting for us. “Firstly to get our first gig for 2015 announced but also to have the opportunity to be supporting a Scottish music legend.

“Obviously, he just this week was headlining the HebCelt Festival, the Hebridean Celtic Festival, and so for the announcement to come this week and such a big week for him as well is really exciting. We’re really looking forward to it.”

Tickets are selling quickly for the gig on February 14, to book visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/donnie-munro-with-special-guests-eric-cloughley-and-maggie-adamson-support-from-colin-clyne-and-tickets-12173610597?aff=es2&rank=3
