Arbroath secondary schools will go head to head in a football match to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation on Wednesday April 2.
This great cause will see Arbroath High take on Arbroath Academy in a Senior Boys match at Gayfield with a 7.00 p.m. kick off. The tie is entitled the ‘Friendship Cup’ emphasising the importance of having a friendly, yet competitive match to raise money for charity.
During half-time there will be a 4 v 4 match involving one pupil from each of the cluster primary schools in Arbroath. In addition to this there will be a dance performance from Showcase the Street, which involves pupils from both schools. This promises to be a very exciting match and many tickets have been sold already.
Tickets are available for £1 from either Arbroath High School or Arbroath Academy or you can pay at the gate on the night. The British Heart Foundation is a brilliant cause, funding research on coronary heart disease.
