Dance teacher and Zumba instructor Jenna Swankie is leaving Arbroath to move to Australia.

Jenna, from Beechwood Gardens in Arbroath, will turn 24 just before her departure on September 16 and is relocating to Perth in Western Australia, where she will continue to teach dance.

Jenna, who holds regular dance classes within Showcase The Street dance studios in Arbroath, has a one-year working visa, but as her boyfriend Danny McKenzie (also from Arbroath) is travelling with her, they hope to get an extension on the visa and permanently relocate Down Under.

Her mother Linda Swankie said: “Obviously, her family will miss her greatly, as will her dance pupils, but we will visit her regularly for holidays, and we all wish Jenna and Danny every success in their new life in Australia.”
