A new shop opened this morning (Friday) to help raise money for abandoned and mistreated cats in our area.
The Cats Protection officially opened the doors to their new charity shop at 31 Fisheracre with the help of veterinarian David Ferguson of Abbey Veterinary Clinic.
All funds raised at the shop will go towards supporting the Arbroath and Carnoustie branch of the Cats Protection which operates a cat sanctuary at Kinaldie Holdings, outside Arbroath.
The charity is always in need of donations and volunteers. Those interested should visit the shop which will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., six days a week, from Monday to Saturday.
