THE WEST Links could be set for even more development after Angus Council secured a grant worth £220,000 for the area.
The cash comes from the Coastal Communities fund and will go towards further regeneration at the site.
The West Links has already seen major changes over the past 12 months with a brand new play facility opening after the formation of the West Links Partnership.
And the council say this alone has boosted visitor numbers since September when the new play equipment was opened to the public.
A progress report on the West Links regeneration will go before Angus Council’s neighbourhood services committee on Thursday.
