Compete against the absolute elite in a demanding obstacle course supported by Arbroath’s Royal Marine Commandos to raise money for charities with local links - Help Our Wounded Royal Marines and Supporting Arms and the Sandpiper Trust.
A team of 10 Royal Marines who are currently serving with 45 Commando Group will take part in the exhilarating 6k and 12k courses as part of the Lanrick Challenge, in Doune on Saturday July 19.
The exciting yet gruelling course has been set up on the Lanrick Estate and consists of a demanding mix of hurdles set to push participants mentally and physically, similar to the initial training Royal Marines face in Exeter.
At RM Condor yesterday, competitors Emily Sandwell and Erica Silcocks from the Sandpiper Trust and Michelle McDermott from Help Our Wounded watched on as the Royal Marines were put through their paces in preparation for the tough challenge.
