An Arbroath care home has won an award for being a top-recommended residence in Scotland.
HC-One Lunan Court Care Home came ninth out of 1,277 homes in the country, following a survey of care home residents, relatives and friends across the region.
The top 20 homes in Scotland received an award from online directory and industry website carehome.co.uk.
Lunan Court will receive a certificate from carehome.co.uk and be recognised as a top-rated home on the directory’s website.
The award was based on the home’s recommendations from the residents, as well as their families and friends.
Manager Lynsey Robbie said: “We are delighted to have come ninth in carehome.co.uk’s rankings.
“To have received the top recognition is a real testament to the hard work and dedication that colleagues at Lunan Court put in, day in, day out, to provide the kindest care to our residents.”
Davina Ludlow, director of carehome.co.uk, said: “We felt the best people to rate a care home were the people who really know its ins and outs, its residents as well as their families.
“Lunan Court has proved that it provides a great service and we’d like to congratulate them on being a top recommended home in Scotland.
“It’s a brilliant achievement to be recognised for your hard work, but particularly from the people who you work hard for.”
