Veterans’ groups have benefited this week to the tune of £7,000 thanks to the hard work of the team behind a charity ball.

This afternoon (Wednesday) the proceeds of the Angus 4 Forces Charity Ball, which was held at the end of October at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel, were disbursed to the chosen charities.

Cheques of £1,750 each were awarded to Combat Stress, Commando 999, the RAF Benevolent Fund and the Scottish Veterans’ Residences, by the Angus 4 Forces committee.
