Police officers in Arbroath are appealing for information after vandals smashed a window at the town’s Abbey overnight.

Sometime between 5.30 p.m. last night (Tuesday) and 8.30 a.m. this morning (Wednesday), a double glazed window at the visitor centre, which overlooks an enclosed courtyard at Arbroath Abbey, was damaged at a cost of about £1,500.

Police Scotland appeals to anyone who was in the area and who saw or heard anything suspicious to call 101, or speak to any officer.
