TWO CHARITIES are set to benefit from Arbroath’s biggest zumba party which is taking place all day tomorrow (Saturday).

The Angus Zumbathon is once again returning to Arbroath Sports Centre in aid of both Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the Arbroath Skatepark group.

The sponsor money collected by participants will be donated to the cancer charity while the £6 registration fee will go towards the campaign to fund a skatepark at the town’s West Links.

This year nine instructors will be involved in 13 sessions, from a warm up, right through zumba classes, a Bokwa taster, a zumbatonic kids session and a zumba party.

The doors open at 9 a.m. and entry is £6 per person, allowing entrants to take part in as many classes as they like.

A similar event last year saw an impressive £7,000 raised in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer, while another £800 was donated to the skatepark cause.

Sponsorship forms can be obtained by emailing zumbathonangus@hotmail.co.uk, or from.breakthrough.org.uk/scotland or from Arbroath Sports Centre.

The zumba warm-up begins at 10 a.m. with different zumba classes taking place throughout the day.

The event will end at 6 p.m., with a zumba party which starts at 4 p.m.
