ARBROATH Artisan Golf Club and new caterer Ian Cooke will co-host open days on Saturday and Sunday, March 2 and 3, between 12 noon and 4 p.m.

Bed and breakfast proprietors and hoteliers within the local area are welcome to come along and hear about special packages which could be made available for customers during their stay.

The golf club and course is offering new golfing members the opportunity to join at a special rate of £350, which is a saving of £100.

Members will be able to book their golf times via the club’s online booking service and, once you have a handicap you will be able to enter into the club competitions which are held over the weekend and also during the week in the summer months. The club provides a bar for the enjoyment of the members and their guests. The club also offers a social non-golfer membership which allows full use of all the facilities. This is available at a cost of £40 which includes a £20 bar allowance.

Arbroath Artisan Golf Club has secured a franchise for the provision of catering with Ian Cooke Catering, with Ewan Kane, formerly of Downfield, at the helm. Mr Cooke also provides catering for another three golf clubs in Angus.
