ARBROATH will be moving to the beat in aid of two charities next month.

The Angus Zumbathon returns to the Arbroath Sports Centre on Keptie Road on Saturday, February 9, in aid of the Arbroath Skatepark Project and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

As with last year, all sponsorship will be donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer while the registration fees will go to the Arbroath Skatepark Project.

Organiser Jillian Low, chair of the Arbroath Skatepark Project said: “In February 2012 Zumbathon Angus raised a phenomenal £7,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer through sponsorship of participants, and over £800 in ticket sales for event organisers Arbroath Skatepark Project.

“On behalf of both charities, I would like to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you who took part.”

This year nine instructors will be involved in 13 sessions, from a warm up, right through Zumba classes, a Bokwa taster, a Zumbatonic kids session to a Zumba party.

The doors open at 9 a.m. and entry is £6 per person, allowing entrants to take part in as many classes as they like.

Sponsorship forms can be obtained by emailing zumbathonangus@hotmail.co.uk, or from.breakthrough.org.uk/scotland or from Arbroath Sports Centre.
