Restaurant begins service
THE START of February marks the return of three course evening meals to Angus College’s popular training restaurant as hospitality students at Restaurant 56 gear up to begin service on Wednesday and Thursday evenings in the Keptie Road based eatery.
Restaurant 56 will be running a special offer throughout February with two meals for £25 (normally £15 per head). For this price diners at 56 can enjoy a three course meal produced to the highest of standards and can even bring their own wine to enjoy with their meal.
The students will also be hosting a series of theme menus following the success of a Scottish themed week celebrating Burn’s Day during lunch service. On Wednesday and Thursday, February 22 and 23, students will be serving a French themed menu to celebrate Valentine’s Day and in March the themes will continue will an Irish flavour on Wednesday and Thursday, March 14 and 15.
