Police investigating small fires

TAYSIDE Police is appealing for information that could help to identify those responsible for a number of small fires in Arbroath.

Sometime between 5 and 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, cardboard was set alight in a rear garden in Cairnie Street.

Also in the car park at the rear of St Vigeans Road and Kinnaird Street, wheelie bins were set alight, which resulted in damage to a fence, a garden shed and its contents.

No-one was hurt as a result of these incidents and officers are reminding people of the dangers associated with fires and the unpredictable nature of fire.

They say such incidents do not only damage property, they put people at risk.

Anyone who knows who is responsible should contact Tayside Police on 101.
