Police investigating Arbroath assault

TAYSIDE Police are investigating the circumstances which led to a man being hospitalised yesterday (Sunday).

At around 3 a.m. on Sunday morning officers were called to the scene of a serious assault at the junction of Russell Street and Elliot Street.

A 30 year-old-man was taken to Ninewells Hospital with serious head injuries.

Officers are still conducting inquiries into the matter and are appealing for information from the public. Anyone with information should speak to any officer or call the new police non-emergency number 101.
