THE SEARCH for missing Arbroath man Ralph Hebden continued yesterday (Wednesday).

Over 30 police officers, including specialist search officers and dog handlers were involved in the operation, as efforts to trace the 32-year-old continue.

Police have received a number of reports of potential sightings of Ralph throughout the UK, and each of these reports is being individually investigated. Police would like to thank members of the public who have come forward to date with information, but unfortunately the last confirmed sighting of Ralph remains that at Morrisons Supermarket, Arbroath, about 8.30 a.m. on Monday.

Continued searches of the coastal area took place yesterday, involving police search and rescue personnel and HM Coastguard and Lifeboat crews.

In addition, a coordinated search was made of the area near to where Ralph was last seen, and places where Ralph has been known to frequent.

Police officers also commenced door to door enquiries in Arbroath this evening in the hope of tracing witnesses who may have seen Ralph since he went missing.

Ralph, who is six feet four inches tall, and of muscular build, with short cropped fair hair, was last seen wearing black trainers, dark blue or black jogging bottoms, and a blue fleece. He had a blue rain jacket with him when he left his home address on Monday morning.

Anyone who knows where Ralph is or who has information that could assist Tayside Police in tracing him should call 101 or speak to any police officer.
