High School evening event

Arbroath High School Parent Council is hosting a Curriculum for Excellence information evening to be held in the school library on Monday at 7 p.m.

Curriculum for Excellence is a Scottish Government initiative designed to achieve a transformation in education in Scotland by providing a coherent, more flexible, and enriched curriculum from ages three to 18.

The process will involve alterations to the SQA examinations and the event, to be facilitated by Mr Ken Edwards, quality improvement officer, will be of particular interest to parents of children currently in years one to four.

The Parent Council is currently seeking new members and details of the role and activities will be given at the meeting.
