JOINERY and decorating students from Angus College have made sure the curtain goes up on time on opening night for Arbroath Musical Society.

The 30 students have completed their first job, which was to build a set for the society’s production of ‘The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas’ which takes place at the Webster Theatre next week.

Lecturer, Steve Rennie said: “They’ve done a fabulous job, and they’ve had a great opportunity to practise hanging doors while doing something relevant and useful.

The performance runs from Tuesday until next Saturday. Tickets are available from the Webster Theatre’s box office.
