LEGENDARY runner Liz McColgan completed a 26 mile marathon, which started in Arbroath on Wednesday night, as part of a world record attempt for distance running.
RelayGB is a charity fund-raising challenge in which hundreds of runners are covering 2,600 miles around Britain in over 100 non-stop marathons.
The event was in aid of the charity Brain Tumour UK and hopes to raise £500,000 to fund vital research.
Liz ran the 26 mile leg between Arbroath and St Andrews between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., with six other RelayGB runners.
The relay, which started on May 4 takes in all parts of the country before finishing in London on Monday.
