When the plans were revealed for the Queens Drive site by the Arbroath Herald last week the news was greeted with overwhelming positivity by the general public and social media has been abuzz with excitement ever since.

There are a number of conditions which the proprietors will have to meet, which will be confirmed in due course, but all going well, the cinema could be open for business in a matter of weeks.
