Lidl on Gravesend in Arbroath is set to close on Saturday, July 23 to allow for upgrading work to be carried out.
The store is undergoing a multimillion pound refit. The works are scheduled to last for eight weeks and the new look store will re-open on Thursday, September 15, at 8am.
The refurbishment of the store will include a new bespoke bakery, external trolley bay, energy efficient LED lighting, both internally and externally, a fully glazed shop front and newly paved car park. There will also be improved welfare facilities for the staff.
Gordon Rafferty, Head of Property for Lidl Scotland said: “We constantly review our store portfolio to ensure stores such as Arbroath are up to date with our current specification. We also look at areas of stores, regardless of age, to ensure that all customers have a positive shopping experience.”
