A fundraiser later this month is taking an alternative path to raise money for the life-saving Scottish air ambulance.

The Reiki Rescuers will be hosting a coffee morning and Reiki taster session at The old bean Coffee House, Millgate, Arbroath, on Saturday, October 17, with all proceeds going to Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA).

Visitors will have the chance to try a 10 minute taster session in Reiki from one of five masters who are donating their time for the good cause.

Organiser Fiona Doran said: “The owner is allowing us to use her premises for the day and we have five Reiki masters who have given up their time for free to do 10 minute taster sessions.

“As a result I’m hoping they’ll put something in the donation tin!

“It all goes to this worthy cause, the SCAA, which is like our lifeboat in that they don’t get any government funding.

“Come along and have a coffee and get some Reiki at the same time.”

The Reiki Rescuers fundraiser will be at The Old Bean Coffee House from 10.30am on Saturday, October 17.
