ROYAL Mail is reminding customers that to avoid disappointment all first class mail needs to be posted by tomorrow (Thursday).
Customers are also reminded to use the postcode as t is Royal Mail’s key routing tool and helps direct the mail more quickly.
Wrapping parcels and packages well helps to protect goods and also ensure they arrive at their destination in one piece.
Customers are also asked to ensure the correct address and postage is used.
Gerry O’Rourke, Royal Mail operational director for the north, said, “Royal Mail’s thousands of postmen and women will be very busy sorting and delivering Christmas mail right up until and on Christmas Eve.
“Please help us to help you by posting by our recommended posting dates and by always using a postcode.”
