An Arbroath artist who has quietly been gathering a global following will be exhibiting her work at Auchmithie’s annual arts festival next weekend.
Jilly Henderson will be exhibiting some of her increasingly popular drawings in venue 19 at the Auchmithie HAAR Festival which runs on August 30 and 31.
She explained: “I have been trading online worldwide via a company called ‘Artfinder’ and have been their number one artist, from over 3,000 worldwide, for some weeks with growing sales from as far afield as America and Europe.
“Right now my ink drawings are gaining a lot of attention from UK wide retailers and I have recently been approached by an artists’ representative who promotes artists by introducing their work into popular major UK retail stores with a view to having my work mass produced onto canvases and prints for the home.”
Jilly added: “Card publishing companies are also planning to launch a range of my work as greeting cards for distribution worldwide, in addition to a gallery in Chelmsford offering to show my work in the coming months with a clientele that includes celebrity buyers!”
“I feel The Auchmithie Festival would be a great opportunity for people to see the work that’s causing a stir.”
