High School’s festive event

Arbroath High School held its third annual Christmas for the Community event recently.

Pupils invited people from a number of residential sites within the school catchment area and were very pleased to host visitors from St Vigeans Priority Care Centre, Lochlands Adult Resource Centre, Russell Square and Kendale Hall.

They were also joined by members of the Angus Gold Forum and – as a result - they were able to entertain an audience of nearly 50 people.

Pupils in S3 home economics classes prepared the food for the event as part of their classwork and an S3 music class played a selection of Christmas music as well as a couple of ‘family favourites’.

Meanwhile S3 pupils in art classes designed and made gift boxes.
