October 31 was a busy night down at the Mission when some super children from the local community dropped in for the Mission’s Heroes Party.

Dressed up in costumes there was lots of fun to be had as well as lots of sweets.

The evening also included a variety of games and challenges of skill, crafts, songs, refreshments and a message about Jesus, the greatest hero.

The evening was put on for free and was really appreciated by the children and parents who came along.

Mission Pastor Dave Webster said: “It was great to have kids from the community come along who had never been in the Mission before, and to see them have such a great time.

“We are looking forward to continuing to develop our children’s and youth work and what we can offer to the community.”

On the back of this event the Mission are launching a children’s activity club for primary ages which will begin on Friday November 7 from 6.30 p.m. 7.45 p.m. and will run fortnightly.

They will also be hosting youth nights for secondary age from 8 p.m. - 9.30 p.m. on the same evenings.

Anyone who is interested in coming along is very welcome. Further details can also be found on the Arbroath Town Mission Facebook page.
