With planning for this year’s Relay for Life well under way, the Arbroath Relay committee held a well-attended open meeting on Tuesday evening.
Alana Loudon issued a rallying call to Angus folk to again support this wonderful event. She said: “We are still looking for teams and survivors to take part and to sign up to ensure our survivors have a very special day. We already have a good number of teams registered but there is always room for more. Team captains don’t need to wait until they have a full team in place. By registering at an early stage it means that individual team members can then go online to register for their relay pack.”
There is a Race Night tonight (Friday), at 7 p.m. at the Green Street Hall. Entry is £2 per person. Among other events planned is a 1960s/70s disco at the Red Lion on Friday, July 12. For tickets, contact Helen on 07928 767104 or Rhona on 07841 413738.
