Calendar girls raise cash for breast cancer

THE STAFF and members of Curves ladies’ gym in Arbroath have taken part and produced their very own charity calendar.

Every October all Curves clubs do their bit to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign. The Arbroath club had already raised over £300 for the charity during October by hosting a ‘Wear it Pink Day’ and by allowing ladies to join for free during October in exchange for a donation to the charity.

The calendar is also in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign, with all profits being donated.

Calendars are on sale now for £6 and are available to purchase from Curves located at Unit 2 Lindsay Street. Alternatively, you will also find them in the Cancer Research shop on the Arbroath High Street, Delights Sandwich Bar at 19 Guthrie Port and Ninewells Hospital Dundee.

Co-owners Michelle Slater and Leanne Andrews have extended their thanks to all of the make-up artists and hairdressers from Angus College for their contribution on the night of the shoot, local businesses - At Home, Ferriers Florist, Grace Pattersons Florist and Leanne Andrews Jewellery Design - for kindly donating props for the pictures and photographer Paul Reid from Angus Pictures.

The group was pictured in Curves on Monday evening.
