The Caledonian Golf Club, Carnoustie, presented a cheque for £900 to a charity which supports veterans through golf.
The money was raised by the club through a charity golf event held in September. Former Arbroath man and ex-Royal Horse Artilleryman Gary McNulty accepted the donation on behalf of the ‘On Course Foundation’.
The charity introduces physically and mentally wounded service personnel to the game of golf with the aim of building their self-esteem and making new friends. Gary lost his foot to a landmine in Aden in 1967.
