Staff and residents at an Arbroath care home will be supporting the fight against breast cancer during Cancer Awareness month.
The Monkbarns Care Home plan to hold a coffee morning on Saturday, October 27, in aid of the Go Pink campaign organised by the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
The coffee morning starts at 11 a.m. with bric-a-brac, a competition to win a bottle of vodka, tombola and cake and candy stalls.
Entrance is £2 and includes a cup of tea or coffee and homemade cake.
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK and nearly 1,000 women die of the disease each month.
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is leading the fight against the disease by developing new treatments, raising awareness and campaigning for better services for patients.
