ORGANISERS wil be hoping for a full moon and a full turnout tonight (Friday) for a spooky Hallowe’en charity gig.

The ‘Rock the Lifeboat’ gig, in aid of the RNLI, will be held at DeVitos Live from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. with a gruesome zombies v pirates theme.

Already several local bands have signed up to provide the music from 9.30 p.m., including Two For Flinching, Rufus Hok, Late Landing, The Rag n’ Bone Man and If All Else Fails.

The event has been organised by Doug Clark who recently moved to the town and runs music promotion firm ‘What?’.

He said: “I’ve been doing music promotion and stuff for a few years and I moved to Arbroath about a year and a half ago.

“The lifeboat is something that really matters to Arbroath and it’s a good charity to start with.

“I’m hoping to organise monthly charity events so any charities which want to get involved should contact me on 07927132347.”
