Jill Murray and her mother, Heather, are going under the razor to raise money for Macmillan Cancer in honour of a family member who has bone cancer. The big chop is taking place in the Portcullis, Arbroath, on November 11 at 6.30 p.m. Everyone is invited to come, take part in prize bingo, watch the headshave and help raise money for the cause.
“I’ve got hair past my shoulder,” Jill said. “It is going to be quite a shock but we want to support the charity and my Gran who has not long lost all her hair.”
A raffle is being held with lots of top quality prizes including a variety of great hampers.
“Our whole family have been involved in putting together the hampers and pitching in,” Jill said.
