End of season exhibition at Kinblethmont

Kinblethmont Art Gallery in Arbroath's  'End of Season Exhibition' which runs from Saturday 22nd October until  Sunday 6th November 2011 and as usual is free to all.''Morag Muir is over the moon with her success at the recent Charity Art Auction at the National Museum in Edinburgh of her Bengal Tiger.'�SI was astonished and obviously delighted to sell so well. KINBLETHMONT Art Gallery’s end of season exhibition begins next Saturday (October 22) and will run until Sunday, November 6.

One of the artists showing her work will be Morag Muir, who had success at the recent charity art auction at the National Museum in Edinburgh with her painting of a Bengal tiger.

Kinblethmont Gallery has shown Morag’s work for many years and gallery director Penelope Ramsay is glad to welcome her back.

She said: “We are pleased to be showing Morag’s work again in this mixed exhibition alongside two young Irish artists, a Scottish sculptor and 10 other painters.

“We are really happy for Morag that she is finding such success.”

Other artists showing work include Brendan Flaherty and Robert Jackson from Ireland, Jackie Gardiner, Lindsay Gardiner, Nael Hanna, Kirsten Harris, Frances Law, Norma Maclean, Heather Soutar, Liz Watson, Susan Winton and sculptor Steve Paterson.
