School’s Christmas Fayre

WARDDYKES Primary School Parent Council, pupils and staff have announced the return of their popular Christmas Fayre.

It will take place within the school on Thursday, December 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. The cost of entry, which will include refreshments and shortbread, will be £1 per adult with free entry for children. This is always a very well attended evening and is a lovely way in which to bring pupils, staff, parents and the community together.

The Parent Council is very excited this year as Santa Claus will be visiting the Fayre for the first time. Families will have the opportunity to have their photograph taken with Santa in his grotto and receive a special gift.

Stalls will include cake ‘n’ candy, bric a brac and a Christmas hamper will be raffled. Pupils will also have stalls selling items they have produced with the assistance of their class teacher.

As with past Christmas Fayres, the Parent Council is offering table space at a very moderate rate to local crafters and businesses who would like to sell and promote their products. Demand for tables has always been high and this year has proved no exception.

Bookings have already been confirmed, however spaces are still available. For bookings and more information please contact Mrs Maureen Campbell, chairperson of the Parent Council, through the school on 874379.
