Pupils at Muirfield Primary School celebrated their success during the year at the end of term prize-giving service in the school hall.
A variety of trophies, certificates, medals and awards were handed out to pupils recognising achievements in sport, reading, music and academic excellence.
The event also marked the retirement of Deputy Head Teacher Mrs Margaret McBride, who had dedicated 38 years to the profession.
She commented: “ It has been a very emotional week for me, saying goodbye to all the pupils and staff at Muirfield. I have had a wonderful six years here and I will be sad to say goodbye to so many lovely pupils, parents and staff.”
Headtteacher Mrs Audrey Watson said: “ It is always an emotional experience saying goodbye to our primary seven pupils who we have watched grow through the school into a group of confident, caring, and successful individuals.
“We wish them every success as they go onto new challenges at high school. It has also be difficult saying goodbye to Mrs McBride who has been a pleasure to work with and will be missed by all. We wish her good luck in her retirement.”
