ANGUS College students from all different backgrounds and nationalities came together this week for festive celebrations at the annual Multi-Cultural Christmas Party. The event brings together English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) students as well as staff and students from around the college to celebrate Christmas together.
The party, which is now in its fourth year, has become a key event in the college calendar. Students who attended were treated to Christmas party games as well as a selection of foods from across the globe including Romanian, Polish and Chinese cuisines supplied by students.
Angus College learner engagement officer Katie Anderson said: “The Multi-cultural Christmas party is a great opportunity to celebrate the range of different cultures here at Angus College and to explore different Christmas traditions from around the world. I am pleased to say that this year the event was attended by a record number of students of all nationalities.”
