ASPIRING entrepreneurs flocked to the new Angus Centre for Enterprise Open Day last Wednesday to discover the range of service offered by Angus College’s new one-stop shop for anyone looking to start up in business.
The centre, which was officially launched last week, opened its doors to the public to offer advice on everything from finance and business planning to marketing and legal matters.
Standholders at the open day included Young Enterprise Scotland, Business Gateway, The Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust, and many more that were on hand to give advice about what they can offer to anyone looking to start a new business.
The centre is located in the former College Conference Centre, Esk Building, Keptie Road, Arbroath, and offers a calendar of regular masterclasses, events and seminars covering a range of relevant business topics.
Angus College director of marketing and business growth Kay Gilmour said: “Our open day event was the first chance for the public to come along and see what Angus Centre for Enterprise can do for them.
“Whether they have an existing business or just a small idea which they want to explore, the centre is here to help people in the local community discover their potential. The centre is open five days a week and is here for anyone to just drop in and discuss their entrepreneurial ideas.”
