An Arbroath student has been gripped by ‘shear madness’ and had her untouched locks snipped for a good cause.
Beth Knight (16), a member of D&A College Prince’s Trust Team, has not had a proper haircut since Primary School and has volunteered to have a drastic chop.
So far she has raised over £150 which will go towards the team’s mission to organise outings for vulnerable youngsters, while her shorn locks will be donated to the Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for sick children.
Beth said: “Given I haven’t had my hair properly cut since Primary Seven, it is now down to my shoulder blades so should make a suitable donation to the charity.
“I saw the Little Princess Trust website and that inspired me to have it all chopped off.”
