An alternative Easter treat is on offer this weekend thanks to the Arbroath Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild.

Following the winter recess, the RNLI Shop at the Lifeboat Shed is now open and restocked to continue its good work in supporting the Arbroath Lifeboat.

A spokesperson for the guild said: “If you are out and about over the Easter Weekend and are looking for a treat with a difference why not drop into the RNLI Shop at the harbour? If you have given up looking for the Easter Bunny or rolling your Easter Egg, or are just looking for a safe place out of that April shower, put the Arbroath RNLI shop on your ‘to do’ list.”

The shop will be open between 2 and 4 p.m. from today (Friday) to Easter Monday. Thereafter opening times will be 2 to 4 p.m. weekends only until the end of May.

The next meeting of Arbroath Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild will be at 10 a.m., Monday, May 5, in the Sea Cadet Hal, East Abbey Street.
