Dogs go walkies to help out Relay!

Dogs will get their chance to take part in the fight against cancer with their very own event which will take place on Sunday.

‘Bark for Life’, an offshoot of Relay for Life will see pets and their owners take part in a sponsored walk, all in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The walk begins at 10 a.m. and all participants will walk from the Signal Tower Museum to the Elliot Burn at back again.

Entry is £3 and all dogs taking part will receive their very own medal.

The Arbroath Relay for Life committee say it will be a unique event as people plus their pets will be helping to boost Relay funds ahead of the event.

The Bark for Life will also act as a warm-up for the Relay for Life, which is set to take place on September 21 and 22 at Arbroath United Cricket Club.

As well as entering the Bark for Life, there is also still time to enter the Relay for Life.

Teams can sign up by logging on to the Cancer Research UK Relay for Life page.
