As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations for Cancer Research UK’s big annual fundraiser in Arbroath, the Relay for Life committee is appealing for photographs from the past nine years.
With the help of local expert George Park, the committee is seeking to compile a commemorative collection of photographic memories for posterity.
Committee Chair, Ian Angus explained: “Almost everyone who has taken part in previous years will have some photographs at home. As the old saying goes; the sum of the whole is greater than the parts. Imagine what it would be like if we could all share those collective memories in one massive slide show for everyone to enjoy.
Relayers have already sent us some great photos but we know that there are many more of them out there so we would be grateful for any copies of relay photos from the past. We can even scan prints and return them safely.”
