Death of lorry driver, Catterline

Police Scotland have confirmed that the driver of a lorry, which was on the unclassified road to Catterline this morning, has died.

The 72 year old man was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he sadly died.

Police Scotland have formally named the driver as Harold Waterworth, who was from the Arbroath area. Police were called to the incident at approximately 8.20am this morning (Thursday, December 17, 2015).
