AN ARBROATH duo are hoping to roll in the cash when they take part in a sphereing charity event next month.
Dawn Murray, pictured, and her friend Vikki MacDonald will both be strapped into a 12 foot inflatable ball before being rolled down a hill at speeds reaching up to 30 miles per hour.
The pair hope that their stunt, which takes place on August 7 in Perth, will raise as much money as possible for SANDS, a charity that supports families affected by stillbirth and neonatal death.
Dawn, who has taken part in sphereing before says although she is nervous, it is all for a good cause.
She went on: “This will be my fifth time sphereing as I find it a superb and fun way of raising money for the charity involved.
“I have a few friends who have lost children so we wanted to help the SANDS charity and take part in the event of memory of them.
“The charity completely rely on donations so I thought it was important that I help them.”
Dawn, an Angus Council worker and Vikki, who works on the Kirkton Industrial Estate hope to raise around £500 from the event.
