An Arbroath-based dance school is celebrating its success after making it to World Street Dance Championships recently.
Teams from Showcase The Street, Lindsay Street, travelled to the Glasgow SECC at the end of August for the UDO World X Street Dance Championships 2015.
Over 30 countries from across the globe competed at the SECC and the Lil Leopards (under 10s crew), Hustle (under 14s crew) and Obedience (under 18s crew) all qualified to represent Showcase The Street.
The Lil Leopards made it through to the final round where they placed fifth in the Under 10s World Division.
Unfortunately Hustle and Obedience did not make the competition finals.
Their delighted dance teacher Kimberly Walker praised the hardworking youngsters.
She said: “I could not be more proud of all of my dancers.
“Even qualifying for the World Championships was an achievement in itself now to be able to say I have one of best teams in the Under 10 division in the world is pretty mind blowing.”
Showcase The Street is a registered charity operating across Scotland providing dance for ages three to 18 years old.
The dancers seen in the picture have all attended local showcase classes and were then choose to form dance crews to compete in worldwide competitions.
