A PARTY comprising eight cyclists took part in a sponsored run on Sunday in aid of the CAFE project’s Street Games for All.

Setting off from Gayfield they planned to cycle to St Andrews and back but due to the severe winds the Tay Bridge was closed to cycles so they had to alter their route.

Organiser Hamish Fairweather said: “This was a great effort by the boys, the wind was horrendous but they all managed to completed the course and we have hopefully raised over £600 for a very worthwhile cause.”
