VANDALS struck again at Victoria Park last Thursday for the second time in only two weeks.
Once again, graffiti was sprayed with red paint on the entrance pillars to the park, daubed with political slogans.
It follows an incident last month when similar messages were painted on the pillars leading to Angus Council having to completely repaint the entrance way.
A local drainage firm had offered to remove the graffiti for free using their power hoses but they were unable to blast the pillar clean.
This latest attack of vandalism was discovered early on Thursday morning by chair of 45 Commando Veterans Association Stuart Lavery.
He had been walking his dog in the area around 6 a.m. when he noticed the vandalism, which seems to be worse than the last incident.
And now Tayside Police are appealing for anybody who may have seen the vandalism take place to come forward.
It comes as the force revealed that over £31,000 worth of damage has been caused by incidents of vandalism over the last three months.
Angus Council workers were on site on Friday and repainted the vandalised pillars.
Anybody with information should call Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222 or CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
