POLICE are investigating a break in to Lochlands Bowling Club, Lochlands Drive, sometime between 8.20 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, and 8.45a.m. on Monday, April 22.

Thieves made off with over £200 in cash along with 20 bottles of various spirits. A considerable amount of damage was caused within the Club during this theft.

If you know who might be responsible, or if you know where the stolen money or alcohol is now, please get in touch with Police Scotland Tayside Division on 101 or speak to any police officer. Information can also be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

In addition, sometime between 2.50 and 3.20 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, a silver Mercedes C220 saloon was left parked and unattended in Tesco car park in Arbroath.

The car was parked directly across from the main entrance, nose first into the space.

The owner returned from their shopping trip to find another vehicle had collided with the rear of the Mercedes, leaving deep gouges in the bumper and a large vertical strip of red paint transfer. The driver of that vehicle has failed to stop and failed to report this incident.

Anyone who witnessed this incident, or anyone who knows who might be responsible, should get in touch with Police Scotland Tayside Division on 101.
