Police probe knife theft

Police are investigating the theft of distinctive professional culinary knives worth £200 from Angus College in Arbroath.

The theft happened sometime between 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7 and 8.30 a.m. on Thursday, May 9 from a locker room within the college.

A pink-coloured bread knife, a silver-coloured vegetable knife, a leopard print knife and a zebra print knife were stolen, along with two pairs of black-coloured chef shoes with metal toe sections.

Also taken was a black-coloured knife briefcase with red-coloured embroidery on the front and black-coloured locks on each side.

Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Police Scotland, Tayside Division on 101, or any police officer. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
